Work in progress

Morning friends, hope you have all been well. I have been busy hunting down the elusive thrift store cashmere sweater. Boy, have I found some beauties. I scored a fabulous 100% cashmere turtleneck in the most wonderful red you have ever seen. It fulled like a dream and is is the softest thing you have ever felt. Now I need to decide what to do with it. It is almost too perfect to cut up (this ones gonna hurt). I am also working on the cute sweater above. I am always amazed how these adult sweaters come out my washing machine fit for a 4 year old.  I have needle felted flowers on the front and back and turned it into a cardigan. I am not sure if it needs any more embellishing as it also has the original knitted design. What do you think? Maybe just something cute for the closure.
P.S.  Just to clear something up...I noticed most crafters on the internet use the word FELT when talking about shrinking their wool sweaters to use as fabric. This is not really the correct term, as felting refers to the process by which you turn raw wool fibers or roving into an irreversible fabric. In this category is wet felting(using hot soapy water and agitation) and needle felting(using a barbed needle). When you wash a wool sweater and it shrinks and gets soft and fluffy that is called FULLING. Just a little FYI.
