Beautiful Monday..Cows..Birds..Thrifting and a Giveaway!

Hello friends...welcome back! I don't know about you, but I'm tired just reading that post title.
Am I really going to cram all that into this one little post?
You bet your bippie I am!
most pics will click to enlarge
Last night brought incredible lightening, thunder to rock the house and huge rain droplets.
But just look how the morning presented itself.
I love when the morning fog covers the hills like a soft blanket.
The lilacs are sending the most delicious aroma into the morning air. Sad that they will be gone soon.
My Knockout roses will be a mass of gorgeous watermelon red blooms until December
The Eastern Bluebirds have discovered my ceramic jug bird house. Mom was very busy this morning.
Lot's of trips with a beak full of grasses.
Dad kept a close lookout for predators.
And humans with cameras!
Woodpeckers decided to eat my cilantro seeds...HEY! That's for my Salsa!!!!
American Goldfinches(party birds) came for breakfast bright and early.
Look who's back for the season!
This is for my friend and slipcover mentor Kristi, over at Pink and Polka Dot. She has been obsessing over cows lately.
My girls are back for the summer. Love waking up to see them in my back yard every morning.
On a thrifting note...look what I picked up at my Salvation Macy's for only $45.00!!
Perfect condition and sooooo comfortable. It will be receiving a new slipcover.
I spent Easter sewing up a slipcover for another chair and will showcase that very soon. I'm loving this slip thing!!
OK....now about this giveaway. I was cleaning out my studio the other day and came to the realization that I have way too much fabric. I need to down size.
You know what that means...I'm going to give it away!!!!
I am trying to figure out the best way to do this. Fabric can get quite heavy and I need to find an affordable way to get it to you guys. I am thinking if I use those prepaid boxes and pack them as full as possible, that might work.
I have cottons, all kinds of home decor fabric. Some large yardage and also many small scrap pieces which are perfect for piece work and small projects.
Lot's of good stuff!
What do you think??
 Are you guys interested??
Leave me a comment and let me know.
Well that's it for today...
Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

Oh Janet, what lovely photos, specially the misty morning. I love the cows, although our naughty bovines have damaged fence trying to get into our garden, hmmm...... They are rather large and strong beasts.

The birds are gorgeous, you have such a variety, beautiful colours and all so different.

Now that fabric stash i am sure someone would love to get a box full of your lovely fabric, but I better restrain myself and pass up the offer. Was just going through my fabrics this evening and thinking, I better get busy and use some up.........

Hope you had a lovely weekend,

Claire X

What a wonderfully lovely post to wake up to! Life is so full of beauty isn't it?

Your chair was a great find, I found a similar one and plan to recover mine someday when I work up the courage.

That fabric stash is incredible, what a sweet person you are to want to give it away. If there is any you want to ship to Alabama my address is open to receiving lol.

Love the pics!!! I wish we could get hummingbirds to our feeders...everyone else around here does...we can't even pay them to stop by!!

Now, as for the fabric,....:0 I would love some but, of course, I don't need any to add to my piles. But... it make my mind ponder the possibilities!! It's need vs want..and want always wins!

Wonderful Janet! It does seem as if we're living parallel lives at the moment! Although frankly, our birds do not compare to yours in beauty and variety...and there are NO humming birds in France...at least not in our region. Here I weep. The first photo of fog over hills is to die for. What a vision to awake to...For the give away I suggest a raffle! Or at least have people enter who are willing to pay for the postage. Why not? Anyone would be happy to do that I should imagine. As for grandmotherhood...great fun. I highly recommend it!

You take absolutely beautiful pictures and you live in a beautiful place. I would totally be interested in a fabric giveaway. I was just thinking I didn't have enough fabric and being irritated that Walmart doesn't carry it anymore!

Once again, stunning photos! Are your hummingbirds coming back already? I'll have to let my MIL know it's time to put up her feeder and see if I can find ours.

I am jealous of your bluebirds! Ours can't nest in their box thanks to the finches or wrens, whichever is squatting there now. Love the cow pictures, too. Your pictures are breathtaking.

Please count me in if you decide to do a giveaway.

Montgomery Al Certified Nursing Assistant Salary The key reason why anesthetist nurse income is actually higher is because most of these nurses carry essential roles in the hospitals and takes care of anesthesia processes including equally pre and also post operation supervision. The position of an acute treatment NP is frantic. If you wait for her to reach the lowest point of depression before doing so, then you'll be compelled to call in other medical practitioners, as well, such as a psychiatrist. The conclave is a platform to discuss the challenges faced by the nurses and the need to give nursing an authority for better judgment and outcomes," said Ms Preetha Reddy, MD, Apollo Hospitals Group while addressing the conclave.
