~~2012 will be the year of Pooh Bear Logic~~

Well here we are
2012
I love saying that
2012
it sounds so futuristic
twenty twelve
I have been thinking a lot about
what I want this clean, shiny
brand new year to
be like.
I have decided this will be my
Year of Pooh
I will try to
model my year after
the many wonderful quotes of
Winnie the Pooh..
all images courtesy of Google Images

I promise to keep loved ones near
 and
those no longer with me
in my heart
Forever

I will cherish my comfortable friendships
you know the ones..
you don't have to be someone you are not
and
they love you for it

I will try to notice the small things in my life
and find joy in them

I will live in the
NOW
and not worry so much about the future
or dwell on the
Past

I will make a point of eating more
'healthy smackerels'
and say
"Aha!"
at least once a day
as that will be the perfect beginning of
 every day.
(did you notice I just let poetry in?)

Yes
I am braver
I am stronger
I am smarter
I will repeat these words every day!

I will surround myself with
only those who
'have my back'
Nay sayers
can exit now please!

I will make more friends that make me feel like like this!

I will support
the people in my
Life
Together
we will achieve our goals
and find
Joy

This is my all time favorite Hallmark greeting card

I will make sure my
Family
Friends
and
 Loved ones
always know they can be
"SURE OF ME"
I can't help but get excited about this new year
and
a new chance to make it better than 2011.
What about you...
do any of these quotes hold meaning for you this year?
Do share

Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

I just love Pooh and his way of thinking. He's just the sweetest fella/bear in the whole wide world. The Year Of Pooh.... Love that!

Pooh has a way of being so inspiring with so few words ... what a wise bear. A friend gave me the braver/stronger quote on a sign for Christmas. It's one of my favorite quotes.

Aww these are so sweet. I want to watch some Winnie the Pooh movies now. Thanks for the Beijo bag, btw!!! It's really cute and I can't wait to use it.

LOVE IT !!! Here's one from me to you. I think I will adopt it for my 2012 outlook:

Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.
Winnie the Pooh, Pooh's Little Instruction Book

Let's slow down and enjoy the ride and sights !

Hi Janet! These are all such great words to live by! Pooh is such a wise bear, isn't he! I found your blog after the comment you left at Hope Studios! I had to come by and "meet" you after reading your comment and agreeing with everything you said! Hope you are enjoying your day! Take care!

I love your page. My dad said I reminded him of Tigger and he reminded me of something wonderful and happy and joyous and smart and, you know, like a dad, or a best friend, like Pooh and Tigger.

He went to heaven 6 months ago. Oh my heart is broken.

All the cards on your site made me cry. A good cry. Of course they remind me of him. Us. We were friends. Nobody better than my dad. My pal.

Thanks for making this blog. Its helpful to me. =)

T is for Terry who is Tigger to my dad.
