Happy October

Happy October everyone ! I do believe October is one, if not my favorite month of the year. I am so ready for the cooler temps that are beginning to greet me each morning. My coffee just seems to taste better when it is crisp outside. Is it in my head...maybe, but isn't that that beautiful thing about our brain and our senses. Smells, tastes and even weather temperatures can stir up so many great memories for us.
I spotted this wonderful painted pumpkin in a shop window the other day. It inspired me. I have some lovely dried gourds and one in particular is shaped just like a pumpkin. I think I will paint it like this cute guy. Until next time, be kind and stay creative.

P.S....I will be away from my computer for a few days and I wanted to remind everyone about the Harvest Moon on Oct 4. Be sure to go outside that night and look up to the heavens..it should be spectacular!
