Ok..OK...I know they are hay bales and their is no such thing as killer rabbits. But, come on, you know that's what you think of when you see these things in the fields. Of course I also think of those old fashioned Root Beer candies. You know..the candies that look like little barrels. Omg..I am really dating myself now..I should shut up before you think I am 92. Seriously, I got into the habit of yelling "root beer candies" everytime I saw these things. My husband hated it and I finally promised not to do it anymore. That made him happy. So next time you come across a field like this, just imagine the giant killer rabbits that made it possible. Until next time, be kind and stay creative.
P.S....don't tell my hubby, but I still mutter "root beer candies" under my breath...Hey..some habits are hard to break.

Good Lord woman! I have been seeing those hale bales for decades and never once did it cross my mind that they might resemble that! Now I fear I shall not be able to see them WITHOUT thinking that!
a great morning laugh...thanks....
Well - I always thought they were bales, but killer rabbits is definitely more fun. You know what I'll think now, when I see fields of hay bales! LOL
Please stop by my blog to receive an award!
You do have a sense of humor and they will appear like that to us for evermore!
I hope I have not spoiled the loveliness of these country landmarks...they really are a favorite thing of mine. They always make me smile ;-)
hysterical! Hey, what about the Berma Shave signs? I bet you aren't THAT old? !!
Cute, now when I see the bunnies that live around my area I'll be looking for the hay bales. Just in case they morphed into killer types.
OMG...I went to WallyWorld today and I also saw evidence of the killer rabbits in our neck of the woods....
