Keep It Simple Janet

My 55 years on this planet have taught me many things. One of the most important and the one that makes me smile the most is this truth............
In this photo is a lovely rose bouquet that can be purchased online for about $210.00...these flowers will be dead in a week.
In this photo is a simple hand picked bouquet of roses from my front yard which I placed in an old jelly jar. I might be biased...but I find much more beauty in the jelly jar bouquet. Life doesn't have to be flashy and expensive to take your breath away.
My point in this ..........keep it simple and keep it real. Try to find the beauty of your life in all the small things around you.
Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

used 3 jelly jars last week with some jute tied around them all with random wild flowers, lovely, simple, the best.

and agree with you.

Oh wow, you are so right! The overdone rose arrangement is hideous compared to your simple little jar!

Absolutely! I totally agree. Amen.

Love the flowers in the jam jar Janet - much more 'real' and far lovelier!! :)

I have to agree Janet, I think your simple bouquet is so much more beautiful. Those hothouse roses never have done a lot for me. They seem too...artificial in their scentless perfection. Give me some real garden roses, especially those pretty striped ones like you have in the vase!
