Welcomed Company

Hello friends...I had a few very welcomed guests this week. Tale a look.....
I happened to look out the garage window around 7:30 pm and saw a flash of spots!
I very quietly went out onto the back deck and down the stairs, where I sat frozen like a statue with my camera. I was hoping I would not spook these babies. Don't you just love them....my own Bambi's!!
They snacked for a while and then wandered over to a few big Rose of Sharon bushes for shelter.
Where they cautiously settled in for a quick rest.
Thank you to the very noisy Harley that cruised by and scared them. They ran into my large end of the season and over grown Bearded Iris bed. They laid down in the middle until Mom came back for them. I have a feeling Mom would not have approved of them being so adventurous. The conversation must have been something like this. " Come on ...Mom will never know we left the garden"........"No...she said to stay in hidden in here...we are going to get in trouble if she catches us!"....."See, I told ya we should have stayed in there, I'm telling Mom you made me go out there!" Typical siblings.
In due time , Mom did come back for them and I'm sure she was non the wiser about their little afternoon of exploring.
Until next time...be kind and stay creative!

Two tiny ones ran across the road in front of us this week and the last one fell right in the middle of the road. Fortunately, it is a very back road and we stopped long enough to be sure he was up and safely across the street before we left.

Hugs - Marie

Aren't they just the cutest!! We used to have deer on the yard sometimes, however the dog we have now chases them away. Not a bad thing for my garden though :)

Oh, I love them! I know deer sightings have become almost commonplace, but I still get so excited when I see one. But two babies . . . wow!

Hope you had a great Fourth!
