Hello friends...before I continue, I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to all who have left me a kind and comforting comment. You will never know how I appreciated each and everyone of them. When I come home from the hospital, I sit here and reread them all...they make me smile.
While spending my days by her bedside, I find myself keeping busy with my knitting needles. With lot's of time and lot's of yarn bits and pieces, I have been steadily amassing a pile of these colorful beauties.....
Cozy..Comfy Circle Scarves!
If you are wondering what a Circle Scarf is..think of a loose turtleneck scarf. Very comfortable without being too bulky and minus the tails that get caught in the car door ;-)
If you look closely, you can see all the pretty remnant yarns from my stash. Baby Alpaca, Soy, Wool, Nylon, Acrylic, Organic Cotton and pretty Polymide Ribbon yarn.
It is a little like making a good soup..a little of this and a little of that, with the end result ( I hope) being delicious.
Maybe when I get time I will do a Giveaway with one...would that interest any of you?
I hope you are all well and enjoying the prep for the holiday season.
Out of respect for Phyliss' family, I am reluctant to talk about her on my blog, however they do appreciate all your prayers and well wishes. Knowing you are being thought about is a big comfort.
Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

Your scarves are really beautiful. How lovely that something so pretty can come from such an awful situation. I'm sending lots of hugs your way.

You are doing the right thing - just continue as you are. We are all thinking of you both and will be here when you return.
Hugs - Marie
The colours are so beautiful. :) T.
Good to see you back Janet, I've been thinking of you and your friend. Gorgeous little piles, that is a smashing green at the bottom. x
They look so cosy! We are in the middle of a very severe bout of weather in the UK so I'm wearing lots of layers to keep warm, including a very similar circle scarf knitted by a friend of mine.
PS Meant to say I hope Phyllis is comfortable and enjoying the company of her good friend.
Hey Janet, your circle scarves look like hugs made out of yarn, warm and snuggly......
Have been thinking of you and Phyllis and about how friendships develop even between people who have never met face to face. It's warming, comforting and uplifting.
Hugs to all of you,
Claire XX
Thinking of you both and know that whoever gets one of these beautiful scarves will appreciate the love that when into it!

Janet, my prayers continue for you and your friend from afar. I have been out of circulation so long, that I missed a lot of my blogger friends entries...it is so wonderful to read of the love of a friend and what hope it instills. You are precious.
While glancing at your gorgeous stack of circle scarves, I'm thinking, I have that yarn, and that one and that one...you inspired me, last year, to make one which led to several more. Thanks for being an important part of my life also.

I love the green one Janet , it will match my green eyes...LOL
Just remember you are very special friend. I love you. You brought me food when Eddie(husband) was very ill in the hospital and sat and talked. You invited me to a painting party and when I got there we painted your den and then you halls. All we did was talk while painting. Fun Fun Fun. You are such a good person. Be very proud of your self Janet!

XOXO
I should have known your hands would be busy as you sat with your friend:>) These are beautiful. Praying for your friend.
LOVE all the colors, but I think the green one would be my favorite :) Will you have them in your etsy shop when you open again?
Still trying to get back into the 'crafting' groove, Janet! Thankyou for your lovely comment - so sorry to hear about your dear friend.
Thinking of you

P.S. Fabulous scarves :)
I LOVE your scarves. Quinn was wearing that design in London last weekend...but it wasn't nearly as lovely as the ones you made.
Love these - they are very popular in London right now. I love the green one, no the orange one, no the green one ;) They are lovely!
