Hello friends...welcome back!
I thought I would share this little bit of very typical dialogue between the man and me this morning.
Keep in mind was 6:35 am, I'm enjoying my first and very needed cup of coffee and still in my jammies.
Hubby looks out the back door towards the 45 acre field that backs up to our 3 acres, where a herd of cows graze 9 months out of the year.
He turns to me and says
"I think I see a white plastic grocery bag way out there in the field...You might want to go out there and get it before it blows away."
Me to darling hubby
"I'll get right on it, I wouldn't want those cows to think it's a toy and put it over their heads..that could be dangerous and you know what they say..it's all fun and games till a cow gets hurt"
Hubby shakes head and goes quietly to work
;->
That's pretty much how my morning begins everday!

So what do you think...should I go get that bag?
Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

Lol. Sounds familiar. Yes, I think you should go get the bag but make something funny out of it for him. Or put something of his in the bag and hang it on the doorknob for him to see. I'm sure you could come up with something truly creative to extend the giggle here. =) Have fun in the field. {wink}
Only when you've had another cup of coffee...and then present it to him as Leslie said, in a suitable manner.
The thing is, if hubs would say it like "Look, somehow there a bag blew out into the field." I would probably just go get it - I just hate it when he suggests that I should do it! I think it's "you're not the boss of me" complex :)
He gets around it by saying things like "I'm going to have to do a load of laundry when I get home from work." even though he's done about 10 loads of laundry in the past 18 years!
I think you should make a little something out of it. Use it as plarn and make a little coaster for his coffee in the morning! Keep us posted on the tail of the wayward bag!
Katy ;)
Thanks for my laugh for the day. That's hilarious. I'm impressed that your sense of humor was awake at 6:35.
Um, no. Don't get the bag. It's hubby's issue so he should go get the bag. I know, I'm a snot, even after having my morning cup of coffee. Mooooo
I would be afraid the cow would eat it and then everytime I put milk in my cereal I would think of that poor cow.
So, we have a white bag, a herd of cows and you in your jammies. At 6.35 in the morning, I'd have taken my coffee and gone back to bed.
I take it you have good binocs?!
CJ xx
I think you should fill the bag with a few cow pies...!!!!!

I think that you're waiting until you really, really, really know what the right thing to do is was the right thing to do. Unfortunate that hubby came home and handled it before you had a chance to act on "what was right"!
So glad Hubby came home and did the right thing!
Oh Janet, that's just too funny. I think you should get the bag but drag a few other objects out into the field and wait for hubbies reaction.
Maybe a graden seat or two for the cows to have a rest when they get tired of standing up. Oh the mind boggles.......
I'm having brekky in bed, looking out at the cows in the paddock, it's bucketing down maybe I should take out a brolly or two for them, hehehe
Fellas..............speechless.
Claire :)
That's funny. The photo, too.

Thank you for the huge laugh - I really, really needed it today!!
God bless you - Julie

I recently came across your blog (from the Sew Mama Sew giveaway?) and just now have had the time to read through some of your older posts. This one about the plastic bag in the field is priceless! I can totally relate to this kind of conversation. Thanks for the laugh!
I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is
required to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours
would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web savvy so I'm not 100% certain.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Kudos
