Filling My Shops With Holiday Cheer

Hello friends...hope you are all enjoying the week.
Yesterday I spent some time
glittering my two Fox Den booths up for the upcoming
Holidays.

Please excuse the odd tint on my photos.
It is very hard for me to get a good picture with the
lighting in this huge place.
But you get the idea I hope.

Lots of glittered paper wreaths and ornaments.
It's funny how things come round again.
Back in the 80's I can remember making
construction paper cone wreaths to decorate
my son's elementary classrooms.
Now you can find these decorations on many blogs
being made with vintage sheet music.
What's old is new again!

The owner of the Fox Den is an avid collector
and whenI told him about the sheet music decorations, he GAVE me a huge stack
of fabulous vintage sheets, thank you Tom.
I won't ever run out!

This is a really nice French side table I just restyled.
It was a very nondescript 70's maple. The golden maple did not really enhance the french
legs and curves.
I painted her Paris Grey and Old White with clear and dark wax.
I painted right over the outdated and worn leather inserts..no problem.

I think she is quite pretty now.

This gal has got some serios curves.

All my silver is glowing and my little handmade holiday trees are
all glittery.
More sheet music ornaments with German Glass glitter.

So easy and fun to make.
Let me know if you need instructions on the decorations.
Leave me a comment

Baskets of holiday cheer and twinkling white lights

My holiday tree is displaying all my pretty handmade ornaments.
I have much more to bring
to the shop and will be sure to take more photos.

will be having it's annual
Holiday Open House
On Dec 3rd, 2011
10am- 6pm

along with much holiday
CHEER
I will be doing a demonstration with
and
will raffle off the sweet 2 tired table I will be painting.
I will also be showing visitors
how to create their own
Vintage Sheet Music Decorations.
It should a festive *fun time!

Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

Having a booth is something I would love to do. Finding a place near here is impossible! sigh

I'm loving all the sheet music projects and just found some old piano books at the thrift store and 2 lovely old end tables that would be a perfect AS paint project.

PLEASE stop on over and read about my linky party next week. I hope you will join!

Hey Janet, you are the Queen of sparkle..........it's looking very festive and glittery, wonderful.

More sheet music.........nice score, hehehe..........
As you say everything old is new again that's because there's nothing new under the sun, just different ways of doing them. Love the music sheet ornaments.

ALl the best for the 3rd, sounds like it's going to be a fun day. Hope there will be lots of folk popping by to check out your lovely shop and painting demonstration.

A lovely cool morning here but I think I'm going to need my ☂, rain is forecast and quite a bit of it. Have a great day,
