Hahahahaha ...saw the white santa cutout ornament, that probably has Billys picture on it! I have one just like it with MELYNDA !!!!!It's been a long time ....:>)))
I've never looked at the tree from the cats' point of view. As I'm typing this, MY cats are playing tag using the tree skirt underneath the Christmas tree as home base. After the game, the tree skirt will probably become a day bed for their morning naps.
I had to get silk wrapped styrofoam ball ornaments for my last cat... He liked to bat them off the tree and play! I found those ornaments all over the house!! Now the cats just ignore the tree...a nice warm lap wins over the tree. That's what age will do for ya!
I remember when my son (now 45) was crawling. One day I looked up and got a peek at his view so I crawled around the house to see what he saw. One of those silly things in life.
It looks quite majectic from that point of view doesn't it? I can see why the cats feel so sheltered under the tree. My cats love sleeping under the tree.

Love the old fashioned and traditional look to your tree.... IF I were a kitty cat I would sooo be climbing it!

Cute! My kitty is a big thick around the middle so she just sniffs the tree. She couldn't climb it if her life depended on it!
