~My Christmas gift~

Hello friends....I hope the new year is shaping up well for all of you.
2012 began with a big
MEOW
for me!

Say hello to my Christmas gift from my family.
Her name is
Carmen
and she was rescued from the SPCA.
Looks like Carmen got a Christmas gift also..
A new family

7 months old & very playful
Carmen is the perfect cat for me
Cuddly
Sweet
Loves people
and
very well behaved.
Mr. Secret Agent is smitten with her also.
Our last cat, Whisper, was with us for 21 years
and
I miss him.
I have been wanting to get another cat lately
and I think my boys knew that.
PS...Carmen has turned out to be a very good protector...
she saved me from a very dangerous
landbug the other day.
It could have gotten ugly,
but because of her I am still among the living
;->

So I hope everyone gives Miss Carmen a
BIG HELLO

Ohhh, Carmen is beautiful! Last year my sweet tuxedo cat, Sam, passed away. I missed him so much. I then adopted Smokey Bear from the Humane Society. Cats are so fun and such good company!

What a sweet face she has!!!! I can't wait to meet her in person. Warning, you will probably have to frisk me before I leave to make sure that I'm not trying to smuggle her home.

What a beauty she is! Such a cute little face. It almost makes me want to run out and get a cat myself...but not quite.

She's so beautiful Janet!!! You can just see all that curiosity in her eyes too! :) We got 2 kittens for Christmas last year from our local rescue and they are both wonderful! As different as any siblings of course, but perfectly balanced. :) I'm sure you are enjoying her very much!

A big welcome and hello to Miss Carmen! I don't have a cat, but I would be lost without my Annie dog.

Oh Janet, Carmen is a cutie, she's very alert, those eyes are watching you ... I have no doubt she is full of energy.

I wonder if she knows how lucky she is to be living with you?...

Welcome Carmen, I am sure we will be reading about your exploits very soon.

Hello Janet! Welcome sweet Carmen! New kitty is absolutely darling. I just celebrated my one-year anniversary with our darling little rescue Phoebe. There is nothing like having a rescue pet in your life. They are so loving and so very grateful.
Happy January!

Hi Carmen, you little cutie!

I'm sure you'll love your new life with Janet (just don't stay still for too long or you may get the Annie Sloan treatment).
