Morning friends...I spent the weekend( a very rainy one) in my studio sewing up some new craft aprons. These are a great way for me to get creative with all my smaller designer remnant pieces. They are a lot of fun to make and I love embellishing them with vintage lace and buttons. They will be in my booth at the Spring Festival! I also finished up a shoulder bag I created from a reclaimed wool sweater. It was the coolest and very large heavy wool pullover with a beautiful leaf pattern knitted throughout. The minute I saw it I knew it would make a fabulous handbag . I felted it by machine and then hand needle felted the red berries and yarn curly ques (is that a word?) I lined it with a great linen type vintage floral fabric and added a red grosgrain ribbon strap. I love it! I still have a very large piece of this sweater left and I am deciding what to do with it. Maybe a large tote or vest...any ideas anyone?
Until next time...stay creative and be kind. Happy St. Patty's Day!

What a lovely colors! Just got my package today with loads of tiny pieces of fabric - my hands are itching to start. Made yesterday two cozy little pillows, hopefully will be listing them this week.
