Mother Nature Can Be Mean and Twittering

This is one of last years babies...so cute! That's Mom in photo below.

Morning all...I guess it is just survival of the fittest, but it still upset me. Last night my husband and I went to check on the rabbit nest that we discovered in our garden. A mommy rabbit had given birth to two lovely little babies last week. We have had a lot of rain and unfortunately we think the babies drowned. It seems like a very poor housing plan on Mom's part. The hole was not very deep and easily filled with water with nowhere for babies to escape. It made us very sad....we love our wild rabbits. I guess that is nature just taking it's due course, but I am still sad.
On a little different note...do any of you twitter? I avoided it for a long time, mostly because I am such a computer virgin. I thought it would be too complicated for me. It's not! I have to say I have met so many wonderfully creative and funny (that is for you Hen ) people. I not only chat with them , but I make sure to visit their websites and blogs. I have discovered some fabulous blogs. Great photos..words of wisdom..beautiful artistry..and fun online shops. I want to share some of them with you and will post a list of my favs. Their is a little too much nonstop and blatant hawking of products by some. I admit I will announce a new Etsy shop listing now and then, but some shops are unrelenting....nothing about them, just product, product..more product. I tend not to follow them so much. I also don't understand why some people would want to follow me. Case in point...I got a follow request from a 19 year old surfer dude in CA. What the heck does a 19 year old surfer dude have in common with a 54 years old woman in Virginia! I think it all gets to be a numbers game. Who can have the most followers. I am not into that.
I really have enjoyed my new friends across the pond. They are such a funny lot...love the use of all that UK slang..cracks me up. I always have to ask them what they mean (talking to you again Hen). All in all, twittering can be a very informative and fun pass time, just keep it under control. Enough for now...be kind and stay creative. Don't forget to enter my giveaway! Go down to the giveaway post and sign in....go ahead, you know you want that Tote!
These are just a few of my favorites...take a look and you will see why

Ah, thank you Janet! I make a absolute point too of not following Twitterers who plug plug plug. Hen does have a very - erm- choice use of language sometimes, she is so funny! (and I can couch for the fact that she is like that in real life too).

Thank you Janet for mentioning my blog...I hate it when I see a cat sneaking around my bird feeders...we have wild bunnies too!

We have very few bunnies around us but I'm pretty sure that has to do with the red fox I see slinking in the woods in the late afternoon and early morning.
