Too Many Great Things To Post About!

Hello friends....welcome back.
Yes...today I have so much to share, so let's just get right to it..shall we?
My newest magazine feature hit the store shelves this week.
Stampington & Company graciously gave me six pages in the Fall issue of Altered Couture.
Editor extraordinar, Beth Livesay, out did herself once again.
This issue is filled to the brim with page after page of beautiful fashion restyles by some very talented ladies.

I love what Elena Ham did with an aging vintage dress for a new bride...just stunning!
Elana totally restylesd it and made it current without losing that vintage quality.

And just look at this beauty...love the pouffy sleeves and that color...wow!
Fashion artit Shirley Goff took a former bridesmaids dress and put the scissors to it. That Shirley is a gal after my own heart...not afraid to use those scissors!

My feature is six pages showcasing three of my felted children's sweaters.

I am so thrilled to be among the many wonderful artists in this publication.
Much hard work goes into every issue and it shows by the sheer quality of the pages and the profesionalism of the magazine staff.
Well Done Guys!

Ok...enough bragging about myself.
Well maybe just a bit more...
I took my newest treasure down to my Fox Den shop today and set her up nicely.

While thrift shopping this week, I found some lovely items to go in my space.
Perfect smalls to be used maybe for holiday decorating.
I can picture winter greenery or candy canes tucked into a pretty silver goblet.
Maybe a pretty vignette under a glass cloche on one of my Tournus French aluminum escargot pans.
So many ways to get creative with these vintage finds.

I had to scramble and bring a table of mine to replace the vanity that sold.
A lovely lady named Linda bought the vanity and the two lamps in the photo above to place on the vanity.
Perfect pairing Linda!
I was lucky to be in the shop when she came to pick it up and we had a wonderful conversation.
A big Hello to Shiela, another sweet lady I met while there also.

Quickly becoming my favorite type of signage
SOLD!

I think I might need more space
;-<

Just added this sweet vintage jacket fashioned from real quilts.
The label shows it came from an exsclusive Aspen Colorado boutique, Sunshine & Geraniums.
Very unique.
Please excuse the yellow tinge in the shop pictures..the lighting makes it difficult for colors to photograph true.
So today I need start painting to fill the vacant spot left by the sold vanity.
I think that is a very good problem to have.

Until next time...be kind and stay creative.

I have rented space like this before years ago and wonder if I shouldn't try it again after looking at your lovely spot! I would do things so differently than I did the first time around!

Foxes Den is looking absolutely gorgeous Janet......keep writing out those "SOLD - paid in full" signs.
Love the patchwork jacket too.

6 pages, yowsers, well done, love the sheep sweater. Its lambing season here and I can hear them calling for their mums.......... Bless their little bleating hearts, they're adorable.

Grey skies and gloom here this morning just the way it should be after an unseasonally warm week.
