Hello friends...welcome back and Happy Saturday!
So let me set the scene for you:
I'm with some friends at my local Costco, which I had just visited a couple of days ago.
Since I really didn't need to shop, I thought I would pass the time by browsing the magazine section.
I see a copy of GREENCRAFT which is published by the great Stampington & Co. people.
I instantly am smitten by the felted sweater tea cup pin cushions.
Are they not adorable??
So I start flipping beautiful page after creatively beautiful page and

I see something that catches my eye....something that looks strangely familiar!
HEY....that's MY upcycled vintage napkin scarf!!!!!!

I had no idea it was being featured...no one e-mailed or notified me in any way.

Don't get me wrong...I'm thrilled, just very surprised.
Dear Amanda Crabtree, Senior Editor...you might give a gal a heads up.
I don't think Costco shoppers take too kindly to listening to a crazy lady running around the store yelling "I'm in this magazine...look, that's me!!!!"

OMG I can not imagine flipping through a magazine and see my pieces in it. How does it look from the clouds up above. That has to be where you are my dear sweet friend. lol

Congratulations Janet! A fun surprise for you, but they should have sent you the complimentary mag and shame on them for not notifying you! They get a pretty penny for those publications and without submissions like yours they wouldn't have anything to sell.
Congrats!... and don't worry I suspect such places get used to crazy women.. I did the same thing at B&N a couple of weeks ago!
